Clédevie in history and meaning
The concept of the "key of life" ( Clédevie by French) has deep historical and cultural significance, particularly in ancient Egyptian civilization. Known as the "ankh," the symbol of the key of life represented the concept of eternal life and immortality. It was often depicted in the hands of deities and pharaohs, symbolizing the power to unlock the afterlife and ensure ... everlasting existence.
The ankh was also associated with fertility, health, and prosperity, making it a symbol of great importance in Egyptian culture.
